Who are We and why do we Love Michael Jackson?

Let me first welcome you to Michael-Jackson-lovers.com, and tell you a little bit about us.

Well, Let me start by saying that I grew up with Michael Jackson's music.
I was born in 1965 and was influenced by Michael as I love a great beat and a good dance.

I can remember dancing on the front porch with my 4 brothers and sister
to "ABC" by The Jackson 5.
Then all through my Jr high and High School years (1978-1984)
we danced at school dances to songs from The Jacksons Victory Album
In Jr High we had school dances and danced to "Rock with You","Billie Jean" and "Beat It".
The 1st album I bought was "Off The Wall"

MJ's music was always in my life subconsciencously. I always liked Michael, especially as a solo artist.
I was like everyone else and saw headlines of Michael's nose and fashion statments, his short pants, white socks and sequened glove.
I did not really know the person, but figured that what an individual wants to do with their life is their business.

Then on June 25, 2009 when Michael Jackson died...I was shocked,
as I am sure you and other people around the world were.
I bet every single one of us can remember where we were and what we were doing when we heard the news of his passing.
It made me, as I am sure you to, as a fan of his music,
Wanted to hear Michael Jackson's songs again that we grew up with, as a sort of appreciation to him for all the wonderful things he gave the world.
The more I listen and watched videos on YouTube.com, I began to see a wonderful, fun childlike person. I also realized how much he had accomplished in his life, and how fascinating he was.
My 9 year old son has an appreciation for Michael's music
now that I have been working on this site. So his music is now coming alive for a younger generation.

Through this website I will try to reveal the complex & brilliant person that Michael Jackson was.

I want this to be a group effort for any one who loves Michael
Jackson and his music. In our adventure we will also
reveal the man.
